Historical seismograms (USA network)
The Historical Seismogram Filming Project was began in 1979 with the
objective of preserving seismograms dating from the beginning of the
instrumental era in seismology to 1963. Seismograms of significant earthquakes
have been systematically collected and preserved by making photographic copies
at observatories sites around the world, and have been made available through
the World Data Centers.
The historical seismogram archive at WDCs contains seismogram copies of 16-
and 35-mm microfilm.
WDC for SEP, Moscow has historical seismograms of USA network from
twelve stations.
Users can view
list of stations and time coverage intervals per station and/or
fill in request form .
