The list of the seismological observatories of the world is prepared and published every year in the "Regional Catalogue of Earthquakes" by the International Seismological Centre (ISC, UK). The stations included in the file are listed with their code, name, location, geographical coordinates (in degrees with minutes and seconds), and altitude.

The data were obtained from the International Seismological Centre on CD-ROM "ISC Catalogue 1998".

The World Data Center for Solid Earth Physics, Moscow have developed user interface that allows to retrieve data by the available parameters.
